Attorney General Joins Playground Panel
Tomorrow night, Attorney General John Suthers will be of the
panel discussing the commercial sexual exploitation (CSE) of children in
Colorado. He joins representatives from The FBI, CASA of the Pikes Peak Region,
The Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) Team at Memorial Hospital and The Human
Trafficking Task Force of Southern Colorado.
The panel comes after the screening of Playground, a film by George Clooney, that looks at CSE in America
through the story of one girl who was sexually abused a child and fell through
the cracks of the foster care system.
The film is being screened by Let Them Have Faces, a local
organization working to increase community awareness about instances of
violence.
Playground is
being screened at Stargazers Theatre (10 S. Parkside Dr.). Doors open at 6:00
