Finding Our Voices (FOV) provides art events
that empower survivors of sexual abuse and also to advocate in the
community for the prevention of sexual violence. FOV sponsors an annual
art exhibit in April during SAAM (Sexual Assault Awareness Month) The
second Saturday morning of each month, FOV provides an art workshop for
members and throughout the year members speak in the community as
advocates to prevent sexual violence.
Below is a list of their events in April. LTHF will be present to get the word out about who we are. Stop by our table and say hello. Invite your friends to an amazing night of art and poetry on April 14th. FOV will also be at Playground screening on April 11th. Their art will be at Stargazers for the month of April.
March 31, 2012: 11am-4pm is the opening of the Sixth Annual Art Exhibit and Silent Auction
April 14, 2012: 11am-4pm is Performance Art and Poetry
